July 20th, 2009 - I've moved the scanner from my house to my office. I did this for several reasons. The biggest one was that the office is 3 floors up and has excellent reception! The EMS/Police/Fire scanner picks up a lot more in Jacksonville, St. Johns, etc. The non-EMS scanner now has Air traffic on it, and has also been moved to the office. I've also replaced the Pro-2034 with a Pro-2039. The old Pro-2034 was falling apart, and while the Pro-2039 isn't "state of the art", it has a much better range, faster scanning and in general works a lot better. I've changed the http://beave.vistech.net DNS record to point to the scanners new locations. However, I had to make a port change for the non-EMS scanner. The port has changed from http://beave.vistech.net:8001 to http://beave.vistech.net:8002. Please let me know if you have any questions.
May 3rd, 2009 - Couple more minor changes to the setup. Nothing that you'll problem notice. Mostly about how the traffic is handled by the internal servers.
Apr 10th, 2009 - Added a new out door antenna. This has greatly increased the scanners pick range. I've also added a few new "local" frequencies to the Pro-95 as well as a bunch of St. John's county (Florida). The scanner mostly picks up Jacksonville, Jacksonville Beach Florida, Neptune Beach, Atlantic Beach and a good bit of St. Augustine traffic. The new St. Johns frequencies are in bank #5.
Mar 22nd, 2009 - I've moved the Pro-164 out and replaced it with a Pro-95. From a listening stand point, there isn't much of a difference. All the same channels, etc. I do not have a list of frequencies for the second scanner (Old Pro-2034) as most of it is random stuff (cab's, some police, etc). If I ever organize the information, I'll put it online.
